eclipse-cdt-launch-remote software package provides Remote launch and debug support for Eclipse CDT, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eclipse-cdt-launch-remote
eclipse-cdt-launch-remote is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eclipse-cdt-launch-remote package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eclipse-cdt-launch-remote *
